   Norris Peak Ranch

   Norris Peak Ranch is dedicated to the preservation of the Akhal-Teke; the graceful, intelligent, sensitive, fearless, and athletic golden horses of Central Asia. Revered by the peoples of Asia for more than 5,000 years, the Akhal-Teke awareness and population are increasing in United States and Europe.
   
   Norris Peak Ranch is located in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Homesteaded in 1890, their ranch, adjacent to Black Hills National Forest, has a long and colorful history. Located at 5200 ft, Norris Peak provides their Akhal-Teke with grazing pasture and a 1000 ft climb to the summit of the ranch.
